There is an alarming trend of critical infrastructures and major corporations falling victim to malicious cyber activities. The United States, Saudi Arabia, Denmark, and at least 100 countries have seen destructive malware on their critical infrastructure services. The digital economy is negatively affected and this is just a sign of things to come. There is an underground marketplace for weapons, services, and sensitive data — that is perpetuating the threat to society. Ms. Hathaway provides a compelling call to action for governments and corporations to increase their resilience and reduce their risks.
