Almost every organization today is accumulating vast amounts of data. Some of this is open, some anonymized, while other datasets are aggregated and released to the public – then there’s the privately held data warehouses and data lakes.
This session looks at how governments and policy developers around the world engage with stakeholders and other organizations to understand the policy implications of privately held data assets. We discuss how trust and relationship building is key to starting a ‘data dialogue’ which may result in mutually beneficial outcomes.
